As part of our Super Group Cares initiative, colleagues from our Guernsey office rolled up their sleeves and went All in for their local community, spending the afternoon volunteering at Fort Le Marchant Headland to help protect one of Guernsey’s important coastal habitats.
Working alongside local conservation experts, the team pulled invasive bracken and cut back gorse and bramble to prevent them from taking over the grassland. This vital work helps create space for native wildflowers and bell heather to flourish, supporting biodiversity and preserving the natural beauty of the area for years to come.
The afternoon wasn’t just about giving back to the environment. It was also a chance for colleagues to step away from their desks, enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time together while making a meaningful impact in their local community.
The volunteering day is a great example of what Super Group Cares is all about – coming together, making a positive difference and showing that when we’re All in, with even a few hours of collective action have a lasting impact.
