DigiOutreach partners with Huis Zonnekus

In December, DigiOutreach was proud to bring some festive cheer to our local elderly by partnering once again with Huis Zonnekus for our Santa Shoebox. Our DigiOutsource employees filled festive boxes with necessities, home comfort items and added personal touches for the residents of Huis Zonnekus to enjoy.

Huis Zonnekus is a non-profit residential home for the elderly in Milnerton, Cape Town. It operates under Badisa and provides compassionate and dignified care to their older residents. Their mission is to create a safe, warm environment where residents feel valued, supported and truly at home.

From frail care to emotional and social support, Huis Zonnekus plays a vital role in enriching the lives of seniors who often have limited family contact or financial resources. Their work is built on community, compassion and everyday acts of kindness.

Spreading joy and care through Santa Shoeboxes

The Santa Shoebox initiative is another project where our teams are making a meaningful difference this festive season. Each gift box was filled with essentials and thoughtful items that bring comfort and joy, where each small gesture carries a big impact.

  • Essential care items: Toiletries, warm socks, soft face cloths and other daily necessities.
  • A personal touch: Handwritten notes from employees, reminding each resident that they are seen and valued.
  • Community spirit: The initiative brings employees together, uniting us around our shared purpose of giving back.

A season of giving, a future of togetherness

Our December partnership with Huis Zonnekus reflects DigiOutreach’s commitment to supporting our local communities, and helps to lift the spirits of residents at a time that many can feel lonely.

We’re deeply proud of the generosity shown by our employees and grateful to Huis Zonnekus for the vital work they do all year round. Together, we’re creating a festive season filled with warmth, comfort and hope, one shoebox at a time.
