As part of our global Splash for Cash initiative through Super Group Cares, DigiOutreach proudly partnered with Intaka Island as the organization celebrates an incredible 30-year milestone in environmental conservation, education and community engagement.
Located within the heart of Cape Town, Intaka Island is dedicated to protecting and restoring wetlands, preserving local biodiversity and creating meaningful environmental learning opportunities. Over the past three decades, the organization has become an important steward of one of Cape Town’s unique urban ecosystems, providing a sanctuary for wildlife while inspiring visitors to play an active role in protecting the natural environment.
Going All in for conservation
Splash for Cash brought colleagues together for a day of fun, friendly competition and purpose-driven giving. Participants purchased throws for the opportunity to dunk members of the leadership team, bravely taking their seats in the dunk tank as colleagues aimed for a splash. Every throw contributed towards the fundraising effort, creating an energetic atmosphere filled with laughter while supporting a meaningful cause.
Through the collective generosity and enthusiasm of our people, DigiOutreach was honored to present a R65,000 donation to support Intaka Island’s ongoing conservation and sustainability initiatives.

A key focus for the organization is its METOS 5 weather station, an advanced monitoring solution designed to support sustainable land management and informed decision-making. By tracking critical environmental conditions such as temperature, rainfall, evapotranspiration, soil moisture and wind patterns in real time, the system provides essential data that enables more efficient operations, optimizes resource use, and helps maximize productivity and yield potential.
