DigiOutreach celebrates Women’s Month with the iHata Shelter

As part of our Women’s Month campaign in South Africa, DigiOutreach was All in to support the iHata Shelter, a Cape Town-based nonprofit organization who provides safety, care and empowerment opportunities for vulnerable women and their families, located in Heideveld on the Cape Flats.

Since its establishment, the iHata Shelter has positively impacted thousands of women through emergency accommodation, counseling, skills development, educational programs, and community reintegration initiatives. The organization’s mission is to create pathways toward recovery, self-respect and long-term independence while contributing to a society free from violence and poverty.

As part of our Women’s Month outreach efforts, DigiOutreach donated essential items and resources. Our contribution included:

  • Essential hygiene and personal care items
  • Everyday necessities that support shelter residents and care teams
  • Practical resources that help create a safe, nurturing and empowering environment

At DigiOutreach, we recognize that meaningful change begins when communities come together to support those facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. By partnering with organizations such as iHata Shelter, we can help strengthen the services that provide safety, healing and new opportunities for people in our local communities.
