In April, our Betway Africa colleagues came together for a hands-on community initiative: preparing 400 sandwiches for two shelters in Johannesburg – the Frida Hartley Shelter in Bellevue.
Our newly revived Betway Africa CSR Committee’s goal remains the same – continuing to contribute in practical ways to support our local communities. As part of our annual event, our sandwich drive does just that by helping provide meals for those who need it most. This year our donation supported the Frida Hartley Shelter, who provides a safe haven and vital support services to vulnerable women in the heart of Johannesburg.
What makes initiatives like this special is the collective spirit behind them. Colleagues from across the business rolled up their sleeves, working side by side and turning compassion into action.
We’re incredibly proud of our teams for their willingness to give their time to support our local community. Small acts, when done together, can make a meaningful difference.
