On February 27, the DigiOutreach CSR committee participated in its inaugural Food Appreciation Day, partnering with Ladles of Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity and supporting sustainable agriculture in South Africa.
Ladles of Love operates at the intersection of social impact and economic empowerment. The organization provides nutritious meals to vulnerable communities while fostering long-term solutions through urban farming initiatives and small business development. By equipping food entrepreneurs with resources to scale their ventures, Ladles of Love contributes to job creation and economic resilience.
Founded in 2014, Ladles of Love began as a small soup kitchen serving 70 meals. Over the past decade, it has expanded significantly, particularly in response to the COVID-19 crisis, and now distributes nearly one million meals per month across the Western Cape, Northern Cape, and Gauteng provinces.
DigiOutreach’s participation underscores its commitment to corporate social responsibility, aligning with broader sustainability and social impact goals. Through strategic partnerships like this, the company seeks to drive meaningful change while reinforcing its core values of community engagement and responsible business practices.
